Day 1 – Arrival into Cape Town

Welcome to Cape Town, the Mother City! Home to the iconic Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, Robben Island and many more. This vibrant city will kick off your 7 day South African cycling extravaganza. Meet your fellow cyclists, explore the city and prepare for a lavish welcome dinner before resting for the night.

Day 2 – Cape Peninsula to Cape of Good Hope – approximately 100km

Discover the stunning Cape coastline by cycling through Seapoint, Clifton, and Camps Bay. Conquer iconic Chapmans Peak, explore Noordhoek, Kommetjie, and Scarborough, reaching the Cape of Good Hope. Afterward, enjoy a cold beverage and meal, followed by a transfer to your accommodation for the night.

Day 3 – Winelands – approximately 115km

Explore Stellenbosch, South Africa’s second oldest town, amid stunning vineyards and historic homesteads on today’s ride. Marvel at the picturesque backdrop of long, rolling hills and majestic mountains. After conquering two major climbs, unwind at your 4-star accommodation and indulge in a traditional South African braai (BBQ) for dinner.

Day 4 – Boland – Approximately 90km

Day 4 kicks off with a 15km mountain pass, leading to the charming town of Ceres. After a coffee break, embark on a scenic climb with breathtaking views of expansive valleys and orchards. The day concludes at a Safari Park, where you’ll enjoy a thrilling safari game drive and well-deserved G&Ts. Stay overnight at the 4-star Aquila Game Reserve, complete with an afternoon game drive, evening stargazing safari, and buffet dinner.

Day 5 – Klein Karoo – Approximately 115km

Embark on a +-115km cycling journey, featuring over 50% downhill riding. Enjoy the open sky and Klein Karoo hospitality as you cruise through the captivating Koo and Nuy valleys. Arrive in the historical town of Montagu, where the only original Art Deco hotel in the country awaits. Marvel at incredible rock formations and semi-arid vistas. Stay at a historic charming hotel in the town, with a full buffet dinner to fuel your adventures.

Day 6 – Overberg – Approximately 145km

Conquer the Queen Stage of your South African cycling adventure, covering +-145km of fast and flat terrain. Cap off the day with a challenging climb before cruising into the renowned winelands town of Franschhoek. Celebrate the last 15km with legs spinning freely as you reach your accommodation for the night. Reflect on your achievements over a lavish farewell dinner.

Day 7 – Departure Day

It’s time to bid farewell with breakfast and checkout. Convenient shuttles will transport you from charming Franschhoek, to Cape Town CBD, or bustling Cape Town International Airport for the next leg of your journey, or your return home.
